Devilman News Nettwerk is Proud to Bring you:
devil eye news
11.20.07
Another eternity it seems has gone with no updates, but here's a couple! First and most important, I recently discovered that the email link on the site
is no longer active. I'm not sure how long this has been as my time online has been rare the last couple of months. So if you have emailed me
and not heard back that is why. You may now email me at this address: atomagedevilman@verizon.net.
It's gonna take some time to get all of the email links fixed, so in the meantime just use this one.
Up next, three new additions to the collection page and lastly I am kicking the book up a gear or two. A rather unexpected chance encounter recently pushed the
whole thing up a notch or five and the bigger picture is suddenly in a better focus. I'm currently looking into a projected publishing date, more info will be posted here
when it is finalized.
05.22.07 Update posted to the Television Series Episode Guide. Episodes 15-28 are now online.
05.07.07 The site has been fully relocated to a new and more reliable server. Hopefully there will not be any more issues. A ton of updates will be coming soon, thanks for your continued patience and support of Devilworld!

Hi everyone, sorry for the eternity without news, but here's a couple tidbits: Added a few items to the collection page, and I am currently wading through the entire site looking for the pages that some of you have told me are not working. I've found a couple so far, but as I'm sure you all are aware, this is a BIG site so bare with me. I also will have some news on a Devilman project I've been working on in the near future that I'm sure you will want to not only see, but have as well! Stay tuned.
10.11.05
My good friend Coyote sent this over:
On October 4th, it was announced that the city of Wajima has established a project planing team for the construction of a Go Nagai museum. The museum will commemorate Wajima native Nagai Go (age 60), the famous creator of numerous hit manga including Devilman and Cutey Honey.
In August Wajima mayor Kozue Fumiaki met with Nagai in Tokyo, where the famous manga-ka currently resides. When the mayor proposed a machi okoshi (city revitalization) project using characters from Nagais works, Mr. Nagai agreed, stating, For my home town, I offer my complete support.
The planing team for the project will consist of 4 people responsible for researching possible construction sites, coordinating with Mr. Nagai, and working on other general tasks leading up to construction.
In addition, it has been announced that the city plans to invest 8 million yen (US$70,000) this November to begin the project. The funds will go towards the establishment of informational displays in the city, featuring characters from Mazinger-Z and other series, that will inform citizens and tourists about the planned museum.
Although a native of Wajima, Nagai currently resides in the Shinjuku ward of Tokyo

Big news today for all you Devil-fans, so let's get to it. I began this online labor of love in 1999, and over time it has become more than I anticipated. However, since the beginning of the site I have had an idea planned that until now I have kept so secret, that I only told my cat, and she replied with a meow that roughly translated to 'that's all well and good, but I see a glimmer of light in the bottom of my aluminum food bowl so let's get to that first'.
From the outset, it has been my intention of making the information on the site part of a tangible resource. So now after close to 7 years of the site's existence, I am taking the idea to the real world and compiling/writing an Encyclopedia or Devilman Bible if you will. This will be a complete (or pretty damn close by the time it's done)
history of the character, it's spinoffs, merchandise, loaded with pics, etc. etc. all in a big ass book that will more than likely take up your entire coffee table. I also have some very cool ideas planned for the book that I will not give away just yet, don't wanna jinx it too early now do we? I figure it's time to do something useful with all the knowledge I carry around in my noggin about this subject. I'm even gonna try and get this damn thing published, once the monstrosity is complete. I'll post more info as it becomes pertinent.
6.11.05

Big news today, The Devilman live action movie opened nationwide in Japan today.
It really sucks that I'm not making this update from Japan following seeing the film myself, but
things didn't quite work out :( I'm sure you have noticed by now the site is back up, with a stupid banner ad
wchich will be gone in the next couple of days. I'm still working it all out, bare with me.
Thanks for your patience.

The Live Action website has some new features added to it. There are some storyboard and CG shots of Devilman and Silene added in the 'special' section. There is also a highly entertaining game where you shoot demons who fly up from behind the mountains. I have yet to get a higher score than 880, but I'm just getting addicted to it! Stop by and check it all out Here.
9.6.04

Devilworld visitor Ansis just sent this link to a early review of the Devilman live action film on Ain't It Cool News. The review itself is pretty harsh, and can be viewed Here.
8.23.04
Longtime visitors will note the new look. This is the 4th revamp of the site since I started it in 99. I felt it was time for a change, I don't want anyone to get bored, now do I? There has been alot of new info and other items added here, and the layout was a little to constricting for my tastes. Coming to the site in the near future is a collectors gallery, and new installments in the episode guides.
Also, a few of you have suggested a message board/forum for Devilfans to gather. I am currently deciding on whether or not to go through with it, but I wanna hear from you. Should there be a messageboard? Drop me an email, and tell me what you think. I'll wait 2-3 weeks to give everyone enough time to chime in.
I would like to take this moment to thank all of you who visit the site, especially those who keep coming back. I am always surprised and pleased at the amount of email I receive regarding this site, as well as the incredibly positive feedback. It's nice to know so many people are enjoying Devilworld, so thank you all!
